Dean of the College of Science Participates in Master’s Thesis Defense on Nanocomposites and Their Applications
Assistant Professor Dr. Shaimaa Hussein Nofal, Dean of the College of Science, participated as a member of the examination committee for the Master’s thesis defense of student Reem Ahmed Habib, titled: (Synthesis and Selected Physical Properties of Novel Ternary Nanocomposites for Modern Applications).
The study highlighted the preparation of two nanocomposites using the solution casting technique to investigate the effect of nanoparticle concentrations on structural, optical, and electrical properties, as well as evaluating their efficiency in gamma-ray shielding and antibacterial applications.
Dr. Nofal enriched the session with critical and precise feedback, emphasizing the college administration's commitment to supporting innovative applied research and providing a rigorous academic environment for graduate students.
