The legal profession is one of the oldest and noblest human vocations, as it is intricately linked with defending justice against injustice. The lawyer's role in society is to ensure the application of justice and protect the rights and freedoms of individuals, whether in civil or criminal matters. However, their responsibilities extend beyond that; lawyers also defend the rights of corporate and institutional entities such as commercial companies, charities, and governmental organizations.
Due to their unwavering commitment to justice and nobility, the legal profession holds a significant position worldwide. Warith Al-Anbiyaa University, in collaboration with the Legal Rights Union - Karbala Branch and the College of Law, reaffirms this noble role by conducting a workshop entitled "The Significance of the Advocate's Role in Society." This workshop will be presented by Mr. Anwar Al-Faroun, the President of the Legal Rights Union in Karbala, and Dr. Sajid Karim Al-Mutairi, Professor of Civil Law at Warith Al-Anbiyaa University.
The workshop will address the fundamental role of this profession in advancing justice within the community and will shed light on its importance in both the public and private sectors. We cordially invite you to participate in this workshop, scheduled for Saturday, October 28, 2023, at 11:00 AM in the College of Law auditorium.
