In a pioneering educational initiative, the Civil Engineering Department at the College of Engineering, University of Warith Al-Anbiyaa (Peace be upon him), organized a field trip for second-year evening students to a residential complex under construction. This step aimed to familiarize students with real-world construction methods and techniques, giving them the opportunity to directly observe all civil works carried out within the construction site.
The visit provided students with a golden opportunity to closely examine the quality of materials used, surveying operations, quantity estimation, and construction techniques employed from inception to the handover of residential units to investors, in accordance with approved standards and specifications. Additionally, they had the chance to exchange information with engineers and technicians responsible for the project, enhancing their educational experience and developing their practical skills.
This visit is part of the university's strategy to link theoretical aspects with practical applications, emphasizing the importance of field experience in civil engineering education, paving the way for qualified graduates capable of facing contemporary engineering challenges.
