The University of Warith Al-Anbiyaa (PBUH) maintains its notable standing in the most significant worldwide rankings for sustainability in higher education for the third year in a row. According to The Times Sustainability Impact Ranking for 2024, the university is committed to attaining sustainable development goals and putting the best environmental and social policies into effect. This is reflected in its ranking, which falls between 1001 and 1500 internationally.
The Impact rating is based on a set of standards that assess how well universities perform in reaching the UN's sustainable development goals. In order to accomplish the aims, these criteria include poverty reduction, education quality, climate action, and collaborations.
It is noteworthy that 71 universities and other educational institutions in Iraq were among the approximately 2,000 universities worldwide that took part in this classification. This indicates the impressive advancements made in Iraqi higher education as well as the dedication of academic institutions to the goal of sustainable development.
