The Department of Registration and Student Affairs at the University of Warith Al-Anbiyaa (PBUH) held an important meeting on Wednesday, July 10, 2024, where several fundamental issues were discussed that aim to improve the quality of services provided to students and prepare for the next academic year.
The meeting began with Professor Muayyad Samir Al-Khafaf assuming the duties of heading the department, where he expressed his aspirations to improve performance and enhance communication with students and employees. He expressed his commitment to working hard to achieve the desired goals.
In order to accommodate the demands of the present work, various procedures and tasks were changed during the meeting and assigned tasks were redistributed to department members. The purpose of this stage is to streamline administrative processes and increase performance efficiency.
In addition, a work preparation plan for the upcoming academic year was created, which featured a new registration system designed to make it easier for students to register and give them the assistance they need. The development of the electronic system was prioritised in order to record data and deliver services more quickly and efficiently.
It was decided to follow up on the necessary updates and changes to ensure keeping up with global developments in the field of higher education when some issues pertaining to the Bologna process were discussed in another context. The challenges and opportunities faced in this context were reviewed.
It is noteworthy that the new graduate system was introduced during the meeting and will take effect on August 1, 2024. The ability to electronically submit graduation documentation is one of the new system's features that helps streamline processes and speed up the acquisition of the paperwork graduates need.
At the end of the discussion, Al-Khafaf emphasised the value of collaboration and teamwork in order to fulfil the objectives, as well as the department's dedication to giving students the best possible support and attending to their administrative and academic needs.
