On Monday, 9/16/2024, Karbala TV hosted Dr. Nour Al-Saedi, a lecturer at the College of Islamic Sciences at the University of Warith Al-Anbiyaa (PBUH), in its live program "Sabah Karbala." The meeting focused on the topic of "High Morals, an Icon of Optimal Interaction," on the occasion of the birth of the Prophet Muhammad (PBUH).
Dr. Nour discussed in the meeting many issues related to the morals of the Prophet Muhammad (PBUH) and how to emulate him in daily life. She pointed out that high morals are not just theoretical concepts but rather behaviours that must appear on the ground, stressing that the greatest impact of morals appears in how a person deals with himself and others, especially in the face of life's pressures.
In the context of the talk, Dr. Nour said: "High morals are not just a theoretical issue, but rather a behavioural process. When a person shows high morals in his daily dealings with his surroundings, he will become more influential on others, especially if he is able to absorb pressures and alleviate their suffering with a kind word or a caring look." She also touched on the importance of "managing emotions" and how the Prophet Muhammad (PBUH) was able to attract even his enemies through his broad-mindedness and humane treatment.
Dr. Nour praised the role of morals in achieving psychological and social stability, explaining that psychological balance begins with honesty between a person and himself and with God and is consolidated through practicing virtues on a daily basis. She also gave advice to the attendees on how to control anger and emotions, stressing that taking your time and not responding directly helps in making the right decisions.
