The College of Islamic Sciences at the University of Warith Al-Anbiyaa (PBUH) has announced the launch of the “Words of Light—Quran Handwriting Project,” inviting students, academic staff, and administrative personnel to participate in this unique endeavour. The project aims to foster a love for the Quran and uphold the cultural and religious heritage of handwriting.
Preparatory workshops are scheduled to begin in November 2024 to provide participants with the foundational skills and guidelines for Quranic calligraphy. The main event will commence on the anniversary of the Prophet’s Mission in late January 2025, when participants will start the process of hand-writing the Quran.
