Faculty of Islamic Sciences

 

The Faculty of Islamic Sciences considered to be as one of the faculties of Warith Al-Anbiyaa University, which specializes in the study of Islamic sciences within the framework of its three departments (Department of Jurisprudence and its Fundamentals - Department of Quranic Sciences - Department of Financial and Banking Sciences) with the aim of promoting Islamic law in the field of doctrinal, moral and legislative.

The Faculty of Islamic Sciences was established at the Warith Al-Anbiyaa University (peace be upon him) as one of the pioneering projects of Al-Husseiniya Holy Shrine, as it officially became affiliated with Higher Education and Scientific Research Ministry, and this faculty founded to enhance Islamic law in the doctrinal, moral and legislative field, as well as its procedural representation to revive man and society.

Our Faculty specializes in the study of Islamic sciences within the framework of multiple departments, and it is currently the Department of Jurisprudence and its Fundamentals and the Department of Quranic Sciences. It attracts high school graduates, at the morning and evening levels.

The study duration in the Islamic Sciences Faculty is four years, after which the graduate is granted a bachelor's degree in Islamic sciences. Therefore the graduate would be prepared to work in all educational institutions as a teacher of Islamic education and can also be able to complete postgraduate studies in the specialization of Quranic sciences, jurisprudence and its principles.

The Islamic Sciences Faculty seeks to be a pioneer and distinguished in the field of Islamic sciences and to achieve quality standards within the framework of teaching Islamic ideology and its teachings, making it a distinguished institution academically and research.

 

Faculty Mission:

Preparing the students and qualifying them to be intellectual and guide mentors, equipped with the fields of human knowledge and Islamic behavior.

 

 Faculty Objectives:

 - Creating a scientific environment accordance to comprehensive quality standards in education and research by keeping up with global developments.

- Preparing a group of Islamic sciences intellectual teachers and cognitive specialties in the field of Quranic sciences, jurisprudence and its principles, as well as teachers to be Islamic Law (Sharia) experts.

- Preparing specialized Islamic researchers capable of showing the bright image of Islam and Muslims in everything related to the Islamic faith, its law, sciences, thought and civilization as a contribution to keep up with the global civilizational project.
