Legal Affairs Department

Introduction:

The Department of Legal Affairs at Warith Al-Anbiyaa University was established where the administrative structure of this department consists of the Director of Legal Affairs, to whom two divisions are associated, including:

  • Legal Advice Division

  • Guarantees Undertakings Division.

The department is linked to the Assistant President for Administrative Affairs because of the independence required by legal work in that field, and the absence of any influences that would affect the expression of legal opinion.

Mission:

Contribute of applying the law and the emphasizing the right and provide legal advice to all faculties associated with the university, as well as the establishment of investigative committees to reach the optimal application of the law.

Many objectives, the most important of which are:

  1. -  Providing legal advice.

  2. - Applying the law accurately, not violating the regulations and instructions in force, providing the university and its colleges with legal advice whenever required, and defending the university's rights and obligations.

  3. - Organizing adequate readings in terms of expressing legal opinion in various fields and providing the relevant sections with legal advice.

  4. - Participation in most of the committees that are formed in the university presidency as an effective participation. As well as the other committees that require the legal aspect.

  5. - Supervising the investigative committees formed in the university presidency or its affiliated colleges, following up on their procedures and auditing them from a legal point of view.

  6. - Filing civil and criminal lawsuits against (the other) to confirm the right of the university or represent the university before all courts and state departments to follow up on issues of a legal nature.
