The University of Warith Al-Anbiyaa participated in the First International Scientific Conference organised by the University of Oil and Gas in Basra. This participation reflects the University’s commitment to strengthening its academic presence and expanding scientific cooperation with public and private universities.

During the conference, the University was formally honoured as a supporting institution of scientific activities under joint academic cooperation programmes. This recognition acknowledged its active role in advancing scientific research and specialised scholarly initiatives. Several academic staff members from the College of Administration and Economics were also honoured for their distinguished research contributions. Their work reflects the rigorous academic standards and scholarly excellence of the University’s faculty.

This participation demonstrates the University’s ongoing commitment to academic excellence and research development. It aligns with the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals. In particular, it supports Goal 4 (Quality Education) by promoting research and higher education. It also supports Goal 9 (Industry, Innovation and Infrastructure) through the encouragement of research and knowledge production, as well as Goal 17 (Partnerships for the Goals) by strengthening academic collaboration.
