The College of Islamic Sciences Launches the Second Edition of Its Qur’anic Project “Words of Light”

The College of Islamic Sciences at the University of Warith Al-Anbiyaa has announced the launch of the second edition of its Qur’anic project, “Words of Light.” The initiative seeks to strengthen engagement with the Holy Qur’an and to promote Qur’anic culture within the university environment. It is grounded in an integrated academic and educational vision.

The project is open to the University’s students, academic staff, and employees. It proceeds through several organised stages. These begin with the opening of registration, followed by the distribution of designated Qur’anic sheets to participants. The final stage involves the submission of completed written work in accordance with a specified timetable. This structure ensures orderly participation and supports the project’s educational and formative objectives.

The launch of the project aligns with the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals. In particular, it reflects Goal 4: Quality Education, through the promotion of value-based learning and the strengthening of intellectual culture. It also supports Goal 16: Peace, Justice and Strong Institutions, by fostering ethical values and cultural awareness within the university community.

Project Schedule:

- Registration period: 21 February 2026 to 26 February 2026

- Distribution of Qur’anic sheets: 28 February 2026 to 4 March 2026

- Submission of completed written work: 14 March 2026 to 19 March 2026

The College invites all those interested to take advantage of this blessed opportunity to contribute to a project that nurtures intellectual and spiritual values, and that seeks to illuminate hearts with the light of the Holy Qur’an within the university community.
