During the summer break, the Continuous Education Centre at the University of Warith Al-Anbiyaa (PBUH) provides supported training courses, including one on computer skills taught by trainer Hussam Al-Awidi. The course seeks to build and expand the abilities of participants in institutions and enterprises, and it covers the following major topics:
Knowledge of the computer and the basics of working on the Windows operating system using search engines on the Internet
Formatting documents and texts using Microsoft Word
Fast printing
Dealing with important tables and functions in Microsoft Excel
Creating presentations using Microsoft PowerPoint

Participants were separated into work teams and worked together to complete tasks utilising computer and office tools successfully.
The Continuous Education Centre continues to provide courses to improve skills and expand capacities during the summer break, with registration available throughout the morning shift.
In collaboration with the Regional Centre for Emergency Medicine, the College of Medicine at the University of Warith Al-Anbiyaa (PBUH) arranged a training workshop on advanced first aid (BLS) at the College laboratories. The event was witnessed by the President of the University, Dr. Ibrahim Al-Hayawi, the Dean of the College of Medicine, Dr. Ali Abd Saadoun Al-Ghazi, and the Director of the Centre for Emergency Medicine, Dr. Fadel Okla Al-Rubaie.
Representatives from the medical detachments at the Holy Shrines of Imam Hussein and Abbas (PBUT), the Middle Euphrates governorates, and the Iraqi Ministry of Health were present at the workshop. The University is committed to improving health competence in society, and this workshop seeks to train health and medical workers on crowd medicine procedures and treating mass casualties during million-visits.

Dr. Ahmed Abdel Muslim, the college's medical education coordinator, explained that the workshop included training students on the digital or imaginary patient, in which students interact with developments in the medical condition, beginning with a medical history, clinical and laboratory examination, and ending with diagnosis and treatment. The programme also involves clinical exams and educational feedback.
The University of Warith Al-Anbiyaa's (PBUH) Department of Administrative and Financial Affairs, in collaboration with the Department of Registration and Student Affairs, organised a training workshop titled "Ministerial Teacher Management System" to educate those who authorise the ministerial biometric fingerprint in the university's colleges and departments.
The workshop covered fingerprint requirements and issues faced by credentialed individuals and established suitable solutions for these issues.
Under the direction of the deans of the faculties of medicine and nursing, the University of Warith Al-Anbiyaa (PBUH) organised a training workshop for students from the two colleges in collaboration with the Medical Operations Centre in the Iraqi Ministry of Health and the Mass Medicine Centre.
The workshop aimed to develop work skills in emergency centres and crowd medicine, treating accidents during the visits of millions [such as Al-Arbaeen], in addition to managing mass casualties and taking patients’ vital signs.
Assistant Professor Dr. Ali Al-Sharifi, the dean of the College of Law, attended a workshop on "The Iraqi National Rankings of Universities" that was hosted by the Department of Quality Assurance and University Performance. Assistant Lecturer Hussein Al-Ghanimi led the workshop, which was attended by College of Law faculty members. The workshop's objectives were to evaluate college and faculty performance, review the plans created to enter the local and worldwide rankings, and follow up on the procedures linked to the national rankings that were finished. 2024/05/31In an effort to enhance students' skills during the spring break, the College of Science at the University of Warith Al-Anbiyaa (peace be upon him), specifically the Information Technology Department, organized a practical training course on network installation and programming for first-year students.
The course was delivered by programmer Abbas Nouri from the University's Electronic Computing Center.

The Faculty of Engineering, Biomedical Engineering Department, in collaboration with the Continuing Education Center, organized an intensive training course titled "Arduino from Scratch to Mastery." The course was excellently delivered by Assistant Professor Mustafa Habib Jiyad.
The course spanned five days and focused on downloading libraries, writing and reading code, and interfacing sensors, electronic components, and display screens.
Participants included faculty engineers as well as university students. At the conclusion of the course, participation certificates were distributed to the attendees, reflecting the success and effectiveness of this fruitful educational experience.

In support of Warith Al-Anbiyaa University's pioneering role in organizing various scientific events and activities, contributing to maximum benefit for university staff and students in scientific departments through practical application of some devices and sensors in the medical field.
In this context, the Continuous Education Center, in coordination with the College of Engineering / Biomedical Engineering Department, is organizing a course titled "Arduino from Basics to Professional" with the following details:
The course starts on 09/03/2024 at 12:30 PM for five days, with 2 training hours per day.
An exam will be conducted at the end of the course, and participants will receive a participation certificate.
The course will be presented by Mr. Mustafa Habib Jiyad.
The course will take place at Warith Al-Anbiyaa University – Osma Building – Computer Lab.
The training objectives include installing the Arduino program and downloading its libraries, understanding Arduino ports, writing and reading Arduino code, connecting Arduino to sensors and simple display screens, and linking Arduino to some electronic components.
The target audience includes students of the College of Engineering, and the course is free. Graduates of the College of Engineering/ Warith Al-Anbiyaa University will pay half the amount, and those outside the university will pay 50,000 Iraqi dinars.

The first of its kind specialized workshop in Iraq, in collaboration with the World Health Academy, represents a significant event aimed at enhancing the skills of crowd medicine management in the country. Following the success of the first edition held in Qatar, Warith Al-Anbiyaa University (peace be upon him) chose to host this workshop, bringing together international experts and specialists in this field.
The workshop was distinguished by the presence of leading international experts in crowd medicine management, such as Dr. Nelson Olim from Portugal, Dr. Harald Vein from the Netherlands, and Dr. Ali Mahdi from the United Kingdom. In addition to international and specialized medical figures, representatives from the "Regional Center for Emergency Medicine at the Iraqi Ministry of Health" and the operations directors from health departments in Iraqi provinces participated.
The workshop aims to develop training skills in crowd medicine and incident management during mass gatherings, mass casualty management, and crowd medicine training. Organizing such events is an important step towards enhancing medical capabilities and skills in the fields of emergencies and disaster management in Iraq, promoting international cooperation in this regard.
In the presence of the Dean of the College, Professor Dr. Ali Abd Saadoun, the College of Medicine at the University of Warith Al-Anbiyaa (Peace be upon him), in collaboration with the Health Department at the Holy Shrine of Imam Hussain, organized the "Intensive Training Course for Medical Units during the Blessed Shaabanian Pilgrimage." The College of Law at Warith Al-Anbiyaa University (peace be upon him) organized a scientific seminar titled "Executive Procedures," with the participation of the college's dean, Dr. Ali Al-Sharifi. The lecture was delivered by the judicial executor Alaa Fadel Al-Hakim.
The seminar provided an explanation of the provisions of Execution Law No. (45) of 1980, highlighting the executive procedures related to the seizure and sale of movable and immovable property of the debtor. The speaker also addressed the mechanisms for collecting ongoing alimony and the rights of the wife and children.
Emphasis was placed on achieving a balance in decision-making by the judicial executor to ensure justice for both parties involved in the execution dispute. These are fundamental aspects of execution law discussed during the seminar.
