The Department of Aircraft Engineering in the College of Engineering at the University of Warith Al-Anbiyaa organised a training visit for third-year students to the University of Technology, as part of the academic twinning programme aimed at enhancing academic cooperation and the exchange of expertise between the two institutions.
The visit included a series of practical experiments conducted in the laboratories of aircraft engines, aerodynamics, and machine theory. These activities contributed to strengthening students’ applied skills and linking theoretical knowledge with practical application, in line with the latest educational methodologies in the field of aircraft engineering. This initiative also aligns with the Sustainable Development Goals (SDG 4: Quality Education) by supporting applied learning and improving the efficiency of engineering outputs.
The visit further reflects the University’s commitment to fostering engineering innovation and enhancing students’ technical competencies, in accordance with (SDG 9: Industry, Innovation and Infrastructure). It also embodies the institutional partnership between universities to achieve shared educational and research outcomes, consistent with (SDG 17: Partnerships for the Goals).
This initiative forms part of a broader series of scientific activities adopted by the University of Warith Al-Anbiyaa to equip its students with the skills required by the labour market and to advance both the academic and practical standards of engineering disciplines.
