Under the supervision of Dr. Hamam Al-Khafaji, Head of the Student Activities Department, the team of "Kheirat Al-Warith" at the University of Warith Al-Anbiyaa (peace be upon him) carried out a monitoring visit to the International Legacy Foundation for Cancer Treatment, affiliated with the Holy Shrine of Imam Hussain, as part of their social and humanitarian activities in the holy city of Karbala. This visit aimed to provide psychological support and gifts to cancer fighters there, praying to Almighty Allah to grant them health and well-being.

Nursing College Students Provide Community Services

As part of the community service programs adopted by the University of Warith Al-Anbiyaa (Peace Be Upon Him), the Nursing College organized an "Educational Awareness Campaign" for the residents of the surrounding areas and villages. The campaign was executed by the students of the college under the supervision of the faculty members. The campaign covered providing health advice, awareness, and nursing services.

Nursing Students Provide Nursing Services for Pilgrim Delegations on Arafa Day

Team Ataa, Students of the University of Warith Al-Anbiyaa, Participate in Hussaini Service

A group of university students participated in the Ataa project, initiated by students of the University of Warith Al-Anbiyaa (Peace Be Upon Him). The project was established to engage in service and humanitarian activities by providing services to esteemed visitors. The team distributed brochures related to the Hussaini pilgrimage, in addition to offering health guidelines and guidance from the highest religious authorities to the honorable visitors.

"Plant with Love for Fatima" - Humanitarian Initiative

"Plant with Love for Fatima" is an initiative by female students of the University of Warith Al-Anbiyaa (Peace Be Upon Him) to promote agriculture and humanitarian initiatives in commemoration of the birth anniversary of Lady Fatima Al-Zahra (Peace Be Upon Her).

Humanitarian Initiative by First-Year Nursing Students

As part of their volunteer activities during the holy month, a group of first-year nursing students, under the supervision of Lecturer Taha Hamza Al-Nasrawi and accompanied by several department professors, initiated a visit to the Children's Hospital, including the Thalassemia Center and the Kidney Dialysis Unit, as well as the Imam Hussein Cancer Center. This visit aimed to provide support to over 75 hospitalized children by offering gifts, toys, and Eid clothing. The objective was to bring joy to their hearts, bring happiness to them, and alleviate some of the challenges of illness they face.

Field Visit for Civil Engineering Students to Al-Sibtain University Buildings

To meet the scientific curriculum requirements and enrich the practical aspect, which holds exceptional importance in engineering disciplines, the Civil Engineering Department organized a field visit for fourth-year students to the buildings of Al-Sibtain University, affiliated with the Holy Shrine of Imam Hussein. The purpose was to gain insight into the work stages and interact with the professionals on site to benefit from their professional experiences. Faculty members, in collaboration with on-site engineers, enriched the students' practical understanding by illustrating the stages of the construction process, highlighting significant challenges, and providing practical solutions.

Nursing College Students Visit Imam Hussein Institute for Autism

The Nursing College at the University of Warith Al-Anbiyaa (Peace Be Upon Him) organized a visit for its students to the Imam Hussein (Peace Be Upon Him) Institute for Autism, affiliated with the Holy Shrine of Imam Hussein. During the visit, they observed the services provided by the center for autistic children, assessed the behavioral conditions of some of them, and offered support to the center's staff for their dedicated efforts in developing and improving cognitive behavior in children.

Nursing College Students Provide Health and Medical Services

Continuing the services provided by the University of Warith Al-Anbiyaa (Peace Be Upon Him) to the Karbala community, a group of fourth-year students from the Community Health Nursing branch, under the supervision of faculty members, offered primary healthcare services at the Model Health Center in Al-Milhaq neighborhood. This initiative aims to refine the skills of the students acquired during theoretical and practical lessons and to enhance their direct interaction with patients.

Nursing College Organizes Visit to Oncology Center at Imam Hussein Hospital

In line with a sense of social responsibility and the principle that one who does not care about the affairs of Muslims is not a true Muslim, a group of professors from the Nursing College and fourth-year students, under the supervision of Lecturer Zahraa Al-Thabet, visited the Imam Hussein (Peace Be Upon Him) Oncology and Hematology Center. This visit was the result of the students' efforts, who took the initiative to uplift the spirits of patients and work towards alleviating their suffering. Additionally, they distributed gifts to the children there, praying to Allah (Almighty) for their speedy recovery.

Team Ataa for Warith Students Provides Humanitarian Services During the Holy Month

Continuing its service and humanitarian activities for underprivileged families in the holy city of Karbala, the volunteer team "Ataa Warith Al-Anbiyaa" (Peace Be Upon Him) launched the initiative "Warith Ramadan Basket" to distribute food items during the blessed month of Ramadan. The initiative kicked off at the elderly home and orphanages, with the participation of a number of university students.

Field Visit for Refrigeration and Air Conditioning Technology Students to Sheikh Ahmed Al-Waeli Hospital Project (May Allah Have Mercy on Him)

Under the patronage of the University President, Professor Dr. Ibrahim Al-Hayawi, and under the supervision of the Dean of the College of Engineering, Assoc. Prof. Hakeem Al-Jubouri, the Department of Refrigeration and Air Conditioning Technology organized a scientific visit for third and fourth-year students to the under-construction Sheikh Ahmed Al-Waeli Hospital. The purpose of the visit was to familiarize students with the central air conditioning systems, study the main components, and understand their operating principles.

Field Visit for Civil Engineering Students to Asphalt Plant in Holy Karbala Governorate

In the context of scientific collaboration between academic and professional institutions and to meet the scientific curriculum requirements and enrich the practical aspect, which holds exceptional importance in engineering disciplines, the Civil Engineering Department, under the sponsorship of the department head Assistant Professor Dr. Ahmed Musa, organized a field visit for second-year students to the asphalt plant in Karbala and the central mixing plant for the Holy Abbasid Threshold. The purpose of the visit was to familiarize students with the work stages and interact with the professional staff, benefiting from the experiences available in these institutions.

Student Trip to the Holy City of Kadhimiya

The Educational Guidance and Psychological Counseling Department, in collaboration with the College of Engineering, organized a trip for engineering students to visit the holy shrines in Baghdad. The students were accompanied by His Eminence Sheikh Ali Al-Fatlawi, the head of the Educational Guidance Department.

Student Initiative for Planting Gardens at the University of Warith Al-Anbiyaa

Under the sponsorship of the University President, Dr. Ibrahim Al-Hayawi, and with the participation of college deans and faculty members, the Ornamentation and Afforestation Department at the University of Warith Al-Anbiyaa (Peace Be Upon Him) has launched a student initiative to plant flower seedlings and trees in the university gardens. This initiative aims to encourage dear students to take the initiative and show interest in planting and afforestation within and outside the university. This is important in creating a distinctive and healthy university environment.

With Student Talents: University of Warith Al-Anbiyaa Participates in the Opening of the University Short Film Festival

Under the patronage of the Minister of Higher Education and Scientific Research, Dr. Nabil Abdul Sahib, the Department of Student Activities in the Ministry hosted several universities, including the University of Warith Al-Anbiyaa (Peace Be Upon Him), for the opening of the University Short Film Festival. The festival is held under the slogan "With University Students, Nations Rise," and includes the participation of thirty government and private universities and colleges. Dr. Hameem Al-Khafaji, Head of the Student Activities Department at the University, stated, "The festival includes important themes such as respecting others, the importance of cooperation and volunteer work, and rejecting bullying. Films have been prepared by students based on these themes, including dialogue, acting, and direction." Al-Khafaji added, "Outstanding films will be selected and screened at the end of the festival, with several awards for the best work, best actor, and best screenplay, in addition to awards for outstanding students."

Field Visit for Civil Engineering Students to the Unified Sewage Treatment Project in Karbala

To meet the academic curriculum requirements and enrich the practical aspect, which holds exceptional importance in engineering disciplines, the Civil Engineering Department organized a field visit for fourth-year students to the Unified Sewage Treatment Project in Karbala, managed by the Karbala Holy Sewage Directorate. The purpose of the visit was to familiarize students with the project's work stages, interact with the professional staff, and benefit from the expertise available in the professional field. During this visit, students gained insights into the fundamental stages of sewage treatment

College of Human Medicine Celebrates the Auspicious Birth of Imam Al-Mahdi

The College of Human Medicine at the University of Warith Al-Anbiyaa (Peace Be Upon Him) celebrated its first event in honor of the blessed birthdays of the Imams of Guidance. The celebration included the setup of a medical tent to utilize the occasion in educating the university students about essential aspects of pulmonary resuscitation, blood pressure measurement, and various other services provided by the students.   The event featured a valuable lecture delivered by Sheikh Dr. Ali Hasan Muneer, who spoke about the duties of the true Awaited One for the appearance of Imam Al-Mahdi (AJ). He discussed how to prepare as a high model in piety, righteousness, worship, and commitment, enhancing awareness and commitment to the highest levels. Additionally, students of the college recited poetic verses and words in honor of the Imam of the Age.

Volunteer Giving Team of the University of Warith Al-Anbiyaa Renovates a Residential Building

In the presence of Mr. Ibrahim Al-Hayawi, the President of the University, and as a continuation of the humanitarian initiatives endorsed by the Volunteer Giving Team of the University of Warith Al-Anbiyaa, supported by the University's administration, the volunteer team inaugurated a renovated and rehabilitated residential building. Mr. Al-Hayawi, along with the accompanying delegation, inspected this humanitarian activity carried out by the students. He commended their efforts and encouraged them to do more, expressing his full support for their voluntary journey driven by their sense of responsibility towards the community. Members of the team expressed their gratitude and appreciation to the university for its support and inclusion.

Blood Donation Campaign

The Nursing College at the University of Warith Al-Anbiyaa (Peace Be Upon Him), in collaboration with the Health Department of Karbala/Blood Bank, is organizing a blood donation campaign on Tuesday, November 30, 2021. Location: Al-Ula Building / Nursing Fundamentals Laboratory. The invitation is open to everyone.
