In a step that reflects the commitment of the two universities to strengthen academic cooperation, the Dean of the College of Engineering, Assistant Professor Dr. Hussein Hadi Al-Awadi, signed a scientific twinning agreement with Professor Dr. Haider Nazim Al-Mahanna, Dean of the College of Engineering at the University of Karbala.

The agreement included the Bologna Process, assessment examinations, the organization of joint workshops and seminars, in addition to cooperative research projects. The agreement also seeks to enhance the development of joint curricula and the exchange of technical expertise, which contributes to raising the level of engineering education.
