Under the supervision of the Dean of the Faculty of Medicine, Professor Dr. Ali Abdul Saadoun, the Faculty of Medicine at the University of Warith Al-Anbiya (AS) organized a training workshop entitled “Trauma-Informed Care”.

The workshop was presented by a group of international specialists, namely:
• Batoul Reda - Louisiana, USA
• Dr. Zainab Rishon - Michigan, USA
• Dr. Lauren Terani - Ottawa, Canada
• Dr. Hiba Al-Maghoutir - Psychological Counselor, USA

The workshop addressed several important topics on psychological awareness, emotional recovery, and mindfulness, and witnessed a distinctive interaction from the attendees, as intensive training sessions were provided to enhance mental health and develop coping skills.

This workshop comes within the framework of the university’s efforts to enhance awareness of mental health and support students and the community in this vital field.
