The College of Islamic Sciences organised its "Fifth Annual International Conference" under the title "Islam is Life" and the slogan "Human Rights and Contemporary Challenges." The conference aimed to discuss contemporary issues related to human rights from an Islamic perspective and to highlight how to address the challenges these rights face in the modern era.
This conference aligns with several United Nations Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), particularly:
- SDG 16: Peace, Justice, and Strong Institutions, by focusing on human rights and the role of justice in addressing modern challenges.
- SDG 10: Reduced Inequalities, addressing contemporary challenges related to rights and how to reduce social, economic, and legal inequalities in modern society.
