Workshop: The Iraqi National Rankings of Universities

Assistant Professor Dr. Ali Al-Sharifi, the dean of the College of Law, attended a workshop on "The Iraqi National Rankings of Universities" that was hosted by the Department of Quality Assurance and University Performance. Assistant Lecturer Hussein Al-Ghanimi led the workshop, which was attended by College of Law faculty members. The workshop's objectives were to evaluate college and faculty performance, review the plans created to enter the local and worldwide rankings, and follow up on the procedures linked to the national rankings that were finished. The university strives to provide the best possible university education, which is why it is holding this session. 

College of Science Organizes a Course on Network Installation and Programming for First-Year Students

In an effort to enhance students' skills during the spring break, the College of Science at the University of Warith Al-Anbiyaa (peace be upon him), specifically the Information Technology Department, organized a practical training course on network installation and programming for first-year students.
The course was delivered by programmer Abbas Nouri from the University's Electronic Computing Center.
This initiative from the college's administration aims to train students and enhance their practical skills, preparing them for the job market. Mr. University President, Dr. Ibrahim Al-Hayawi, emphasized the importance of students seizing this valuable opportunity to develop and enhance their skills during his meeting with them.

A scientific lecture at the University of Warith Al-Anbiyaa sheds light on the latest developments in hypertension.

As part of the "Green University Environment Week" initiative organized by the General Secretariat of Imam Hussain Holy Shrine, the Faculty of Medicine held an important scientific lecture for its students. The university hosted Dr. Ali Nokhvi, a lecturer at Hull University in the UK and a cardiologist at Castle Hill Hospital, to deliver an engaging scientific lecture titled "Hypertension: What's New in 2024?"
The lecture discussed the latest advancements and innovations in the field of hypertension for the year 2024, where Dr. Nokhvi provided an in-depth insight into recent developments in this field. It was an opportunity for students to learn about the latest research and medical technologies contributing to the effective and innovative diagnosis and treatment of hypertension.
The lecture was distinguished by its rich content and valuable information presented by Dr. Nokhvi, making it a unique opportunity for medical students to enhance their knowledge and understanding in this vital field.

Conclusion of the Arduino Training Course

The Faculty of Engineering, Biomedical Engineering Department, in collaboration with the Continuing Education Center, organized an intensive training course titled "Arduino from Scratch to Mastery." The course was excellently delivered by Assistant Professor Mustafa Habib Jiyad.
The course spanned five days and focused on downloading libraries, writing and reading code, and interfacing sensors, electronic components, and display screens.
Participants included faculty engineers as well as university students. At the conclusion of the course, participation certificates were distributed to the attendees, reflecting the success and effectiveness of this fruitful educational experience.

A scientific seminar About the Secrets of Radiation.

In a significant educational initiative, the Department of Medical Physics at the Faculty of Sciences of the University of Warith Al-Anbiyaa (peace be upon him) hosted a specialized scientific symposium entitled "Radiation Quantities and Units," led by expert Dr. Ahmed Musa Jaafar. This distinguished scientific session targeted department students, opening up new horizons for them to understand radiation sciences in an engaging and profound manner.
The symposium included a detailed presentation on how to measure and control radiation, in addition to providing effective strategies for preventing radiation risks. The discussion did not only focus on the theoretical aspect but also extended to reviewing practical applications of radiation in various fields such as industry and medicine, emphasizing the importance of awareness and protection against potential hazards.
This symposium represents a part of the commitment of the University of Warith Al-Anbiyaa (peace be upon him) to provide rigorous scientific education that combines theory and application, and to enhance health awareness and safety in the use of radiation technology.

Educational Lecture by Sheikh Zaman Al-Hasnawi at Warith Al-Anbiyaa University

As part of its continuous efforts to enhance culture among its students, the College of Medicine at Warith Al-Anbiyaa University (peace be upon him) hosted Sheikh Zaman Al-Hasnawi, in the presence of the College's Dean, Prof. Dr. Ali Abd Saadoun Al-Ghazzy, and a group of students and academics.

Arduino Course Announcement: From Basics to Professional

In support of Warith Al-Anbiyaa University's pioneering role in organizing various scientific events and activities, contributing to maximum benefit for university staff and students in scientific departments through practical application of some devices and sensors in the medical field.
In this context, the Continuous Education Center, in coordination with the College of Engineering / Biomedical Engineering Department, is organizing a course titled "Arduino from Basics to Professional" with the following details:

The course starts on 09/03/2024 at 12:30 PM for five days, with 2 training hours per day.
An exam will be conducted at the end of the course, and participants will receive a participation certificate.
The course will be presented by Mr. Mustafa Habib Jiyad.
The course will take place at Warith Al-Anbiyaa University – Osma Building – Computer Lab.

The training objectives include installing the Arduino program and downloading its libraries, understanding Arduino ports, writing and reading Arduino code, connecting Arduino to sensors and simple display screens, and linking Arduino to some electronic components.
The target audience includes students of the College of Engineering, and the course is free. Graduates of the College of Engineering/ Warith Al-Anbiyaa University will pay half the amount, and those outside the university will pay 50,000 Iraqi dinars.

Workshop Announcement: First Specialized Workshop in Iraq for Crowd Medicine Management in Collaboration with the World Health Academy

The first of its kind specialized workshop in Iraq, in collaboration with the World Health Academy, represents a significant event aimed at enhancing the skills of crowd medicine management in the country. Following the success of the first edition held in Qatar, Warith Al-Anbiyaa University (peace be upon him) chose to host this workshop, bringing together international experts and specialists in this field.
The workshop was distinguished by the presence of leading international experts in crowd medicine management, such as Dr. Nelson Olim from Portugal, Dr. Harald Vein from the Netherlands, and Dr. Ali Mahdi from the United Kingdom. In addition to international and specialized medical figures, representatives from the "Regional Center for Emergency Medicine at the Iraqi Ministry of Health" and the operations directors from health departments in Iraqi provinces participated.
The workshop aims to develop training skills in crowd medicine and incident management during mass gatherings, mass casualty management, and crowd medicine training. Organizing such events is an important step towards enhancing medical capabilities and skills in the fields of emergencies and disaster management in Iraq, promoting international cooperation in this regard.

Training Course Organization for Medical Units during The Shaabani visit

In the presence of the Dean of the College, Professor Dr. Ali Abd Saadoun, the College of Medicine at the University of Warith Al-Anbiyaa (Peace be upon him), in collaboration with the Health Department at the Holy Shrine of Imam Hussain, organized the "Intensive Training Course for Medical Units during the Blessed Shaabanian Pilgrimage." The course was attended by a number of students from the College of Medicine and the College of Nursing who volunteered to serve the visitors coming to the holy city of Karbala.

Scientific Symposium at Warith Al-Anbiyaa University Reveals Dimensions of Human Rights Violations in the Previous Period

In line with its commitment to promoting human rights awareness and continuous education, the College of Medicine at Warith Al-Anbiyaa University (peace be upon him) organized a significant scientific symposium on "Human Rights Violations in the Era of the Previous Regime." The symposium witnessed active participation from students and faculty members.
The event featured in-depth and analytical presentations on the violations that occurred during the previous period. Professor Dr. Sabah Al-Jubouri and Dr. Saad Al-Deen Al-Banna provided a comprehensive overview of the challenges faced by society at that time and the profound impact on human rights.

Workshop on Developing Life Skills for Medical Students

On February 19, a workshop titled "Developing Life Skills" was conducted at Warith Al-Anbiyaa University (peace be upon him), in collaboration with the Warith Center for Entrepreneurship, Innovation, and Development. Scientific Seminar on Executive Procedures for Law Students

The College of Law at Warith Al-Anbiyaa University (peace be upon him) organized a scientific seminar titled "Executive Procedures," with the participation of the college's dean, Dr. Ali Al-Sharifi. The lecture was delivered by the judicial executor Alaa Fadel Al-Hakim.
The seminar provided an explanation of the provisions of Execution Law No. (45) of 1980, highlighting the executive procedures related to the seizure and sale of movable and immovable property of the debtor. The speaker also addressed the mechanisms for collecting ongoing alimony and the rights of the wife and children.
Emphasis was placed on achieving a balance in decision-making by the judicial executor to ensure justice for both parties involved in the execution dispute. These are fundamental aspects of execution law discussed during the seminar.

Scientific Seminar on Required Skills in the Job Market

The Department of Business Administration at the College held a scientific seminar titled "Skills Required for the Job Market." The event was attended by the Dean of the College of Management and Economics, Dr. Awad Al-Khaldi, along with several faculty members. The seminar was presented by Mr. Azhar Al-Rikabi.
The seminar addressed the essential skills that graduates must possess to effectively integrate into the job market. Workshop on Cybersecurity Fundamentals

The Information Technology Department at the College of Science organized a training workshop for its students titled "Cybersecurity Fundamentals." The workshop was conducted by the trainer Hussam Mohammed Al-Owaidi.
The workshop covered essential topics in the field of cybersecurity, including information security, phishing, and fraud, as well as types of malicious and harmful software. Emphasis was placed on how to protect electronic information and enhance security in the online environment.
The workshop aims to provide students with basic knowledge in the field of cybersecurity and raise awareness about the importance of protecting sensitive data and information in the current digital age.

Educational Lecture for Female Internal Departments Students

As part of the awareness and educational programs for female students at the University of Warith Al-Anbiyaa (peace be upon him), the Department of Internal Departments, in collaboration with the Iraqi Red Crescent Society, organized an educational lecture titled "Drugs and Their Effects on the Individual and Society" presented by Ms. Dhuha Yahya Aboud. The aim of this lecture was to shed light on this negative phenomenon and its effects, as well as the immediate and future impacts on individuals and society.

"The Digital Design" Workshop for Media College Students

In the presence of Mr. Ibrahim Al-Hayawi, the University President, and Dr. Mohamed Jamal Al-Taif, the Dean of the College of Media, the Department of Digital Media at the College of Media, in collaboration with the Media Department at the Holy Hussainiya Shrine, organized a scientific workshop titled "Digital Design Using Artificial Intelligence Techniques" presented by designer Osama Adnan Al-Khayyat from the Media Office of the Holy Hussainiya Shrine.
The University President emphasized to the students the importance of showcasing their media talents and assured them of the university's strong support by launching a competition for the best college logo design, designing a brochure specifically for the College of Media, and creating a professional promotional video.
This workshop aimed to introduce the concept of design and its types, as well as the artificial intelligence tools that designers can utilize in their work. The workshop also included sharing experiences in designing websites for the Holy Shrine.

Dialogue Session on the Medical Profession from the Sharia Perspective

The Faculty of Medicine at University of Warith Al-Anbiyaa (peace be upon him) hosted His Eminence Sayyid Haider Al-Balushi, who presented a dialogue session for medical students. The session included responses to students' questions and inquiries regarding the Sharia rulings related to the medical profession, the doctor-patient relationship, as well as clarifying the Sharia rulings on ethical issues that doctors or patients may encounter. The students expressed their gratitude for the insights provided by His Eminence during the session, affirming that this information will contribute to their development as future doctors.

Workshop on Manufacturing Methods for UAVs for Engineering Students

The Aircraft Engineering Department at the College of Engineering organized a scientific workshop for first-year students in the Aircraft Engineering Department entitled "Manufacturing Methods for Unmanned Aerial Vehicles (UAVs)", presented by Dr. Hassan Ahmed Ibrahim.
The seminar covered what an aircraft engineer needs to know, including "design selection, manufacturing of UAV molds, preparation of composite materials, and methods of their use".

The Relationship between Law and Islamic Sharia

The College of Law at the University of Warith Al-Anbiyaa (peace be upon him), in collaboration with the Islamic Center for Studies and Research in Tunisia, organized a dialogue session on the relationship between law and Islamic Sharia. The event featured the presence of Sheikh Ahmed Salman, the director of the center, who answered questions from law students regarding various aspects related to the compatibility of laws with Islamic Sharia.

The Aircraft Engineering Department at the College of Engineering organized a scientific workshop for first-year students on "Principles of Aeronautics" and Aircraft Components.
