The College of Administration and Economics at the University of Warith Al-Anbiya (peace be upon him), affiliated with the Holy Hussaini Shrine, announced that the university council has approved the opening of a Department of Auditing and Control at both the undergraduate and graduate levels. This is in line with the educational vision of the Hussaini Shrine and its interest in developing higher education to serve the public interest.

The Dean of the College, Dr. Awwad Al-Khalidi, stated in an interview with the official website: "During a meeting of the University Council of Warith Al-Anbiya (peace be upon him), affiliated with the Holy Hussaini Shrine, the opening of the Department of Auditing and Control at the undergraduate and graduate levels was approved."

He added, "The creation of this department aligns with the vision of the Holy Hussaini Shrine for developing higher education, its focus on educational aspects, and its interest in establishing colleges that serve the public interest. It also coincides with the vision of the Ministry of Higher Education for establishing new academic programs and colleges."

He clarified that "the department’s staff is available within the college and has extensive experience in this specialization, which will contribute to graduating specialized and distinguished students in the field of auditing and control."
