As part of the agreement signed between the University of Warith Al-Anbiyaa/College of Law and the Police College, with the participation of several faculty members from the College of Law, the Police College held its "First Legal Conference," titled "Intellectual Immunisation from Social Deviations and Ways to Address Them," in collaboration with the University of Warith Al-Anbiyaa (PBUH) and several other Iraqi universities.
The conference focused on addressing key social challenges in line with the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), particularly SDG 16 (Peace, Justice, and Strong Institutions) and SDG 4 (Quality Education). The discussions centred on legal research that highlighted significant social deviations, their causes, and the legal frameworks needed to address them. The participants formulated recommendations aimed at protecting society from the effects of these deviations, contributing to the promotion of justice, equality, and social well-being as outlined in the SDGs.
