Laboratories of College of Medicine

The laboratory constitutes an important foundation whose aim is to build basic knowledge in the science of human body tissues and understand normal human tissues, which are necessary in some future medical applications such as pathology, genetics, internal medicine, surgery, and others.

Anatomy is one of the main subjects for students of the college of medicine; therefore, this laboratory is very important in aiding the future doctors of Warith Al-Anbiyaa (PBUH).

What distinguishes it is the way the professor's theoretical explanation is combined with realistic-looking models and skeletons—or a corpse made specifically for the study—to provide striking representations.

Additionally, there is a digital board-like platform that displays the anatomical material in the form of a three-dimensional image, with the possibility of identifying each organ separately by the professor and students. Thus, the goal of communicating the information easily and smoothly is achieved, and it is also easy for students to understand and memorise the material.

The material studied in the anatomy laboratory is considered complementary to the theoretical material that is given in the form of digital lectures.

The Medical Physics Laboratory is a place where students can conduct experiments related to physical phenomena and their medical applications, therefore keeping pace with the scientific development in the field of medical physics.

The Biomedical and Medical Chemistry Laboratory teaches first-stage students the main principles for understanding the different concentrations of various chemicals, as well as the basics and rules for conducting various important chemical reactions from a health and medical point of view. It also teaches second-stage students how to diagnose various diseases by measuring the concentrations of tests related to those diseases. Some of these tests include measuring the level of sugar, fat, and the activities of the liver in the blood, as well as learning how to measure by drawing blood properly from the patient.

The importance of the computer laboratory at the College of Medicine lies in providing students with sufficient information and experience in using digital systems that help them improve their scientific information and research preparation.

The College of Medicine assigns special importance to e-learning and digital exams as it grants development in the field of information technology that students need during their educational career.

Because educational institutions attach great importance to computer laboratories, the laboratory has been equipped with the latest equipment of high potential in dealing with all educational, research and scientific requirements.
