The Minister of Higher Education, Prof. Dr. Nabil Kazem Abdul Sahib, appreciates University of Warith Al- Anbiyaa efforts for its high carness and excellence in implementing the voluntary work program and consolidating this culture that enhances educational institutions, wishing continued success for our dear country.
It is noteworthy that the University of Warith Al-Anbiyaa from the first year of its establishment provides various services by harnessing its academic energies in serving the local community of Karbala city.
The College of Islamic Sciences at the University of Warith Al-Anbiya held a festivity to honor the top-performing students in the college departments for both the morning and evening studies. This celebration came to appreciate the students' efforts in their study and encourage them to do the best, at the same time it motivates other students to enhance their academic level. The celebration included many activities such as distributing certificates of appreciation and gifts to the students.
The department of scientific affairs in Warith Al-anbiyaa University, in cooperation with the college of nursing holds a scientific symposium on “the effect of electronic games on children’s behavior”.

Under the patronage of the President of Warith Al-anbiyaa University, the center of continuous learning in cooperation with the law college holds a training course for two days. A number of the academic staff in addition to the administrative staff have attended the course. The director of the course Prof. Dr. Lateef Najah Al-qassab indicates that the course consists of theoretical and practical part. The former presents a brief background of the common mistakes in formal writing while the later includes a number of common linguistic errors observed and explained with their correct usage.
A committee from the central organization for standardization and quality control visits Warith Al-anbiyaa University to see the level of efficiency of laboratory equipment in the college of engineering. The committee is received by the scientific assistant, Prof. Dr. Abbas Al-Daami and the Dean of the College of Engineering, Dr. Raouf Muhammad. After viewing the laboratories, the committee stated that the laboratory equipment is modern and subject to the controls of the (COSQC).

During his direct online supervision, Prof. Dr. Abbas Al-Daami, assistant chancellor for scientific affairs alongside with Prof. Dr. Falih Ahmed Al-bayati, dean of medicine college followed-up the course of e-lectures delivered for the students of the college of medicine and stressed on the use of modern means of education compatible with the agreed international standards in order to promote the process of e-learning in all university formations.

Warith scientific magazine affiliated to the University of Warith Al-anbiyaa (peace be upon him) obtained the accreditation of the Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research for the purposes of scientific promotions and various other scientific activities, and inserted it within the Iraqi academic journals websites.

With the distinguished efforts from the unit of World Rankings at the Department of Quality Assurance and Performance Appraisal and with great support from the university Chancellor and from the scientific assistant, the University of Warith Alanbiyaa was ranked as the 388th World Most Sustainable University among 780 participating universities and the 6th in the country (Iraq) among 44 Iraqi participating universities.
This achievement comes after a continuous follow-up to the requirements of this ranking and accomplish them successfully in order to serve the educational process of the country. It is worth mentioning that the University of Warith Alanbiyaa took part earlier in number of international and local rankings to pursuit the advancement of scientific reality of the country.
During the inspection visit of the Secretariat-General of Imam Hussein Holy Shrine Sheikh Abdul-Mahdi Al-Karbalai to the projects of the Directorate of Imam Hussein Holy Shrine, he visited the University of Warith Alanbiyaa and University of AlZahraa. During the visit, his Eminence viewed the buildings and laboratories of the two universities and met with the presidents of the two universities, assistants and some staff. Emphasizing on the necessity of building the scientific and educational excellence of the students and guided students to pay attention to their national responsibilities by insisting on the right demands of our people and their study responsibilities as reform begins by paying attention to science and study and that young people are leaders of the future and builders of the country.

In support to the legitimate demands of Iraqi peaceful protests, and because of the country exceptional circumstances, the presidency of the University of Warith Alanbiyaa initiated a constitutional legal reform paper through which it can offer reform proposals for change that would draw a roadmap for peaceful demonstrators.
The Dean of the Faculty of Law at the University, Dr. Adnan Al-Shroufi, said:
"Under the guidance of university chancellor, Prof. Taleb Hassan Musa, a committee is formed from the law faculty staff in order to conduct a reform study and to provide a reform paper containing a number of proposals and solutions to some of the laws in the Iraqi Constitution and the election law. The committee was held a number of meetings with the university chancellor in order to formulate this reform paper. We ask Allah to help us to provide the best possible service to our country."

Dr. Ehab Abbas Naji, Director General of the department of Studies and Planning at the Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research and Director of the Department of Private Education, visited the University of Warith Alanbiyaa and AlZahraa, which are affiliated to the Directorate of Imam Hussain Holy Shrine. Dr. Afdal Al-Shami, the Head of Higher Education Department at the Directorate of Imam Hussain Holy Shrine, welcomed the visitor and showed him the two universities. Dr.Ehab Naji from his side expressed his admiration for the scientific laboratories and sophisticated lecture halls that will raise the students’ scientific level adding to this the green spaces that provides a distinctive university atmosphere for them.

In cooperation with the Directorate of Imam Hussein Holey Shrine and within the programme of Cultural Project for Iraqi Youth, a delegation of medical students from the University of Kufa visited the University of Warith Alanbiyaa to see the university's faculties and scientific laboratories. The acting president Dr. Nofal Al-Araji received the delegation and said:
We received a delegation of the medical faculties from several universities and it was discussed with them the curriculum, the study plan, and the university vision and mission in promoting the education and following the modern teaching methods. The students have toured at the university and were very impressed by the lecture theatres and the scientific laboratories. The university will continue in receiving delegations and cooperation with various Iraqi and international universities.
The student Siraj Haider from the Medicine Faculty, University of Kufa said: AlOla building, which is belonging to the University of Warith Alanbiyaa, is one of the buildings that has an amazed design using the modern methods of construction. It was also honoured to meet Dr. Nofal Al-Araji who talked to us about the university, its vision and future goals. This gives us an opportunity to express opinions and ideas and discuss them with Dr. Nofal. All this is hope to improve the education in our beloved country.
The student Ibrahim Mohammed Hassan: Our visit came within the program of the cultural project for the Iraqi youth in cooperation with the Directorate of Imam Hussain Holy Shrine and we had a tour in the UOWA. Although it was established recently, it has a distinguished scientific laboratories and lecture theatres equipped with modern means of education in addition to its large green areas. We wish them the success.
The University Presidency is pleased to announce that there will be a discount of 10% from the tuition fees of the next academic year for second and third stage students in case they pay the tuitions fees within 15 days from 1/9/2019 to 15/09/2019. This comes from the care of the university on their students taking into consideration their financial conditions.

In its endeavour to achieve the greatest benefit for its students, the College of Engineering at the University of Warith Alanbiyaa held a summer training course for students of the Department of Biomedical Engineering at Imam Zain El Abidine Hospital. Dr. Shaimaa Hussein Nofal, the supervisor on this training summer, said:
Summer training of Biomedical Engineering Department was conducted at Imam Zain El Abidine Hospital due to the hospital's advanced medical equipment and under the supervision of a specialized staff, hence the students will be able to acquire the required information about the medical devices and how to deal to them. The College is continued dealing with the hospital in training their students annually in order to graduate students who are excellent at their speciality.
The supervisor on the training added that the students were distributed to the different departments of the hospital; in the department of Radiology, Medical Ultrasound, Computerized Axial Tomography (CAT), Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU) and Intensive Care Unit (ICU) to be in a direct contact with the work of these devices. Although the summer training starts in the third stage, the university has made this training optional and the student has no financial consequences.
A delegation from Alhamdaniya University, which is located in Nineveh city, visited the University of Warith Alanbiyaa. The delegation was consisted from the scientific assistance Dr. Kazal Yassin, the head of scientific affairs department Dr. Jasim Mohammed Rajab and from El-Shaykh Khair Al-Deen Al-Hadi. The delegation came to discuss the possible agreements and cooperation between the two universities, and was received by the acting President of the University Dr. Abbas al-Daami and some deans of colleges and heads of departments.
The delegation discussed the methods and fields of cooperation and reviewed the work mechanisms at the University of Warith Alanbiyaa. Also, the delegation visited workshops and scientific laboratories and discussed ideas that would enhance the cooperation between the two universities in various fields. At the end of visit, the two parties agreed to sign an agreement between the two universities in the presence of heads of the two universities. The delegation of Alhamdaniya University thanked and appreciated the good reception and the opportunity to cooperate in order to improve the work and benefit from the capabilities of the two universities to serve the education from the principle of cooperation between the scientific institutions.
To expand the horizons of scientific cooperation between the University of Karbala and the University of Warith Alanbiyaa. A delegation from the University of Karbala led by the University President Dr. Basim Khalil Al-Saeedi, was received by the acting President of UOWA Dr. Abbas Al-Daami and Assistant Administrative Dr. Nofal Al Araji and some deans and head of department. During the meeting, they discussed a number of important issues related to activate the methods of e-learning, modern teaching methods and how to promote scientific reality and scientific research because of its impact on the serious advancement of the educational reality in the country. During his tour in the university, the delegation expressed his admiration for UOWA scientific facilities, infrastructure and scientific laboratories.

On Saturday the 20th of July, we visited the University of Warith Alanbiyaa and Al Zahraa, which are affiliated to the Directorate of Imam Hussain Holy Shrine, in order to strengthen the scientific cooperation between the educational institutions. It was discussed the opening of prospects of comprehensive cooperation with the University of Karbala in all fields as well as the twinning program. At the same time, the delegation get acquainted with the infrastructure of the two universities which was at a high level of equipment and provides a suitable environment for the student. It is worth to mention that UOWA is a non-profit institution and contribute to provide an opportunity of high level studying inside Iraq, we wish them the success.
An official delegation from the University of Warith Alanbiyaa and Al Zahraa University which are affiliated to Directorate of Imam Hussain Holy Shrine, headed by the acting President of UOWA Dr. Abbas Al-Daami visited the University of Karbala to congratulate Dr. Basim Khalil Al-Saeedi for being the acting president for the University of Karbala. In return, Dr. Al-Saeedi thanked the delegation for their visit, confirming his university's keenness to cooperate with the two universities in order to promote the educational reality in our country.

A delegation from Brazil represented by Prof. Selena Victor and journalist Lilyan from the Brazilian TV Cultura channel visited the University of Warith Alanbiyaa to get acquainted with the teaching method and the faculties in the university. The delegation was received by the acting president of the University Dr. Abbas Al-Daami and some of deans and heads of departments. Prof. Selena Victor Said that:
I am a university professor who has travelled to the most universities in the world. Regarding my visit to the UOWA, I have seen the techniques exist in the university which was similar to those in the European countries. This is what I saw in a few universities which encourages to come to the University of Warith Alanbiyaa for stuyding and exchange visits and researches with European countries.
It is worth to mention that UOWA affiliated to the Directorate of Imam Hussain Holy Shrine receives many delegations annually in order to show them the educational reality in Iraq and the distinctive characteristics of the University of Warith Alanbiyaa from the modern teaching techniques and scientific credibility.
