Today, the College of Medicine Council held its meeting under the chairmanship of the Dean of the College, Prof. Dr. Ali Abdul Sa’doun Al-Ghazi, with the attendance of the Council members. The meeting addressed a number of academic and administrative matters related to the progress of the educational process at the College.
The meeting focused on following up on academic and administrative affairs, identifying key requirements that contribute to developing the educational environment and enhancing the academic level, as well as discussing several topics included in the agenda and adopting appropriate recommendations and decisions.
During the meeting, the Council emphasized the importance of strengthening joint efforts to achieve the College’s objectives and enhance the level of academic and administrative performance, in line with the approved quality standards in medical education.

Contracting with the College of Medicine Council for Second-Round Exams
The College of Medicine Council held its social meeting today, chaired by the Dean, Professor Dr. Ali Abdul Saadoun Al-Ghazi, and attended by council members. The meeting focused on negotiating contracts and preparations for the second-round exams, as well as the key requirements for ensuring the smooth conduct of the examinations.
The meeting addressed a range of academic and administrative points related to the exams, including the implementation of interactive academic and organizational procedures, completing the necessary steps to facilitate progress, and discussing negotiations with examination committees, along with a set of streamlined procedures, including stringent measures.
The council emphasized the importance of collaboration among all departments and general units, working as a unified team in the field of secondary education. This collaboration contributes to the success of the second round and the highest levels of organization and academic rigor.
The council also discussed several other agenda items and made targeted recommendations and decisions, including supporting the academic and administrative staff and their efforts to advance medical education.

Commencement of Second-Attempt Examinations for the Medical Physics and Forensic Evidence Departments at the College of Science

The second-term examinations for the academic year 2025–2026 have officially commenced at the College of Sciences, Warith Al-Anbiyaa University, for students in the Department of Medical Physics and the Department of Forensic Evidence, amidst an integrated organizational atmosphere.
The examinations were conducted under the direct supervision of the Dean of the College, Professor Dr. Shaimaa Hussein Nawfal, and with the rigorous follow-up of the heads of both departments. The Deanship provided all necessary logistical requirements and a conducive environment to ensure the smooth progression and academic integrity of the examinations.

Continuing Education Center at Warith Al-Anbiyaa University Holds an Awareness Workshop on the Dangers of Drugs and Their Effects on Individuals and Society

The Continuing Education Center at Warith Al-Anbiyaa University, in cooperation with the Department of University Dormitory Affairs, held a training workshop entitled "The Dangers of Drugs and Their Impact on Individuals and Society." The workshop targeted female dormitory supervisors and was conducted as part of the Unified Training Program for Social Research Activities for the 2025–2026 academic year.
The workshop was delivered by Assistant Lecturer Noor Mohammed Hashim Mohammed and addressed the dangers of drugs, the reasons behind their spread, and the health, psychological, social, and behavioral effects they have on individuals, as well as their negative impact on families and society.
The workshop also focused on the importance of raising awareness and preventing drug use, and on the role of educational and community institutions in promoting awareness of the dangers of this problem. It also highlighted the importance of early detection of problems associated with drug use and addressing them in an informed and responsible manner.

The Continuing Education Center held a training workshop on Saturday, July 18, 2026, entitled "Respecting Others’ Privacy and Not Overstepping the Boundaries of Personal Freedoms." The workshop was delivered by Ms. Tasneem Mohammed Hassan and aimed to raise awareness of the importance of respecting individuals’ privacy and promoting a culture of observing personal boundaries in various social and professional environments.
The workshop covered several topics, including the concept of personal privacy, the importance of respecting the rights of others, and the distinction between personal freedom and behavior that may constitute an infringement on others’ privacy. It also included a discussion of several real-life situations that contribute to reinforcing the values of mutual respect and social responsibility.
The workshop was held as part of the unified training program for social research activities, as part of its efforts to develop social awareness, promote positive behaviors, and build an environment based on respect, cooperation, and commitment to human values.

The workshop aimed to highlight scientific approaches to dealing with social problems that female students may encounter in the university dormitory environment.
The workshop was delivered by Assistant Professor Abbas Adnan Kamel, Head of the Department of Quranic Sciences at the College of Islamic Sciences. He addressed the concept of social therapy and its importance in addressing student problems, as well as the role of social support and counseling in enhancing the psychological and social adjustment of female students.
The workshop included a discussion of several topics related to the causes of problems faced by female students in university dormitories and mechanisms for addressing them through educational and social approaches that contribute to providing a stable and supportive university environment.

As part of its programs aimed at developing digital skills and enhancing the competence of trainees, the Continuing Education Center held a training course on July 11, 2026, entitled "Basic Computer Skills." The course was delivered by Assistant Lecturer Husam Mohammed Al-Uwaidi, Director of the Continuing Education Center, and aimed to provide participants with the essential knowledge and skills required to use computers, thereby contributing to enhancing their academic and professional competence.
The course covered several key topics, including an introduction to computer components, file management, operating system usage, and working with Microsoft Office programs, with a focus on practical applications that enhance participants’ ability to use computers efficiently in academic and professional fields.

Continuing Education Center Organizes a Training Workshop on the Basics of First Aid for Choking and Loss of Consciousness Cases on Campus

As part of its programs aimed at developing the capabilities of administrative staff and enhancing their professional competencies, the Continuing Education Center at Warith Al-Anbiyaa University organized a training workshop entitled "Fundamentals of First Aid for Choking and Loss of Consciousness Cases on Campus," in cooperation with the College of Nursing. The workshop was delivered by Dr. Shadi Shafiq Dawara.
The workshop included an introduction to the basic principles of first aid and proper methods of dealing with emergency health situations, in addition to an explanation of the procedures to be followed when dealing with various types of injuries. This contributes to enhancing participants’ preparedness and enabling them to provide first aid correctly until specialized medical teams arrive.
This workshop is part of a series of training programs implemented by the Continuing Education Center with the aim of developing the skills of university personnel, promoting health awareness, and fostering a safer work environment that is better prepared to deal with emergency situations.

Continuing Education Center Organizes a Training Course on General Safety and Firefighting to Enhance the Preparedness of Administrative Staff

The Continuing Education Center at Warith Al-Anbiyaa University, in cooperation with the University’s Diwan Affairs Department, organized a specialized training course entitled "General Safety, Firefighting, and Fire Prevention." The course aimed to develop the skills of administrative staff and raise awareness of occupational safety procedures and how to deal with emergency situations.
The course was delivered by the Head of the Civil Defense Division and covered the fundamentals of general safety, mechanisms for rapid response to fires, principles of civil defense, and preventive measures to reduce risks. It also introduced the different types of fire extinguishers and the proper methods of using them in accordance with approved standards.
This course is part of the training program implemented by the Continuing Education Center to develop the professional and administrative capabilities of university personnel, promote a culture of safety and prevention, contribute to providing a safe work and learning environment, and enhance staff readiness to deal effectively with various emergency situations.
The Continuing Education Center continues to implement its diverse training programs in line with the university’s vision of enhancing human resource efficiency and supporting the Sustainable Development Goals, particularly Goal 3 (Good Health and Well-Being) and Goal 4 (Quality Education), by providing high-quality training programs that meet the needs of the university work environment.
