Condolences of the College of Islamic Sciences, Warith Al-Anbia University (peace be upon him) on the martyrdom of Imam Musa Al-Kadhim (peace be upon him)
The College of Islamic Sciences extends its deepest condolences and sympathy to the position of our Master, the Master of the Age and Time (may Allah Almighty hasten his honorable reappearance) and to our great authorities, and to the faithful men and women on the anniversary of the martyrdom of Imam Al-Kadhim (peace be upon him), asking Allah Almighty to grant us to visit him in this world and his intercession in the hereafter, for He is the All-Hearing, the Answerer of prayers.
Introduction card
He is the seventh Imam of the pure Household. He was born in Al-Abwa between Mecca and Medina on Sunday, 7th Safar, 128 AH. He was martyred by poison in the prison of Al-Rashid in 183 AH. He was buried in Baghdad on the western side in the cemetery known as the Quraysh Cemetery, which is known today as Al-Kadhimiya.
His titles
His titles indicate some aspects of his personality,
Al-Sabire: Because he was patient with the pains and calamities he received from the unjust rulers.
Al-Zahir: Because he blossomed with his noble morals and radiant generosity, which represented the morals of his grandfather, the Messenger.
Al-Abd Al-Salih: For his worship and his diligence in obedience. This title was known to the narrators of Hadith.
Al-Wafi: Because he was the most loyal person created in his time, as he was loyal and dutiful to his brothers and followers, even to his enemies and those who hated him.
