In the presence of the Dean of the College of Engineering (University of Warith al-Anbiya, peace be upon him), the consulting engineer, Dr. Hussein Hadi Hussein, the Council of Advisors in the Council of Ministers held its third meeting of the national advisory team chosen by the Authority as part of its efforts to enhance the safety of buildings and confront seismic challenges in Iraq.

The meeting witnessed an extensive discussion about preparing a national plan to study seismic activity in the country, in addition to working to develop standard conditions for government and private buildings and updating the earthquake code.
