The College of Islamic Sciences holds a scientific symposium on the position of religion on freedom of opinion

The College of Islamic Sciences organized a scientific symposium entitled "The position of religion on freedom of opinion - selected models", delivered by Professor Dr. Ayad Karim Abdul Hassoun, on February 4, 2025, in the presence of third-year students.

The symposium addressed the concept of freedom of opinion in the religious context, with the presentation of historical and intellectual models that reflect the interaction of religion with freedom of expression. The symposium also witnessed fruitful interaction and discussion between students and the lecturer, which contributed to deepening understanding of the religious framework of this issue.

The college stressed the importance of these symposiums in enhancing students' awareness of contemporary intellectual issues, and linking them to the religious and academic perspective.
