 Scientific Seminar at the University of Warith Al-Anbiyaa (Peace Be Upon Him)
The Department of Internal Affairs at the University of Warith Al-Anbiyaa (Peace Be Upon Him) organized a scientific seminar titled "The Risks of Gender Socialization." The seminar was presented by Dr. Wafaa Abbas Fayadh and Assoc. Prof. Dr. Faeza Thaaban Mansi from the University of Karbala.
The seminar aims to establish the necessary barriers for the use of the term "gender socialization" and highlight its dangers by shedding light on the origin of the term, its underlying goals, and its impact on unsettling society. This is achieved by threatening its constants and human and Islamic foundations.

The conference focuses on the esteemed religious authority, His Eminence Sayyid Ali Al-Husseini Al-Sistani (May his shadow endure).
The visit of the academic delegation reflects the diverse and inclusive nature of the conference, fostering interfaith dialogue and collaboration in the pursuit of knowledge and understanding.

First-Year Students in the College of Engineering, Biomedical Medicine, and Refrigeration and Air Conditioning Technologies Departments Commence Official Classes
The first-year students in the College of Engineering, specializing in the Biomedical Medicine and Refrigeration and Air Conditioning Technologies departments, have officially started their academic journey. They were warmly welcomed by the college's deanship as they began their regular classes.

In an ongoing commitment to continuous on-site monitoring of all aspects of the university, which significantly contributes to the quality of the accomplished work, Dr. Ibrahim Al-Hayawi, the President of the University, conducted an inspection tour within the university premises. During the tour, he examined the ongoing architectural and developmental projects within the university, gaining insights into the progress rates and achievements.

The University of Warith Al-Anbiyaa (peace be upon him) has signed a scientific agreement with Ras Al Khaimah Medical and Health Sciences University. The signing ceremony was attended by the University's President, Professor Dr. Ibrahim Al-Hayawi, and the President of Ras Al Khaimah University, Professor Dr. Ismaeel Matalka. The agreement encompasses various academic and scientific initiatives, including the exchange of scientific visits, collaborative research projects among the faculty of both universities, performance evaluation, scientific supervision, and the utilization of scientific expertise to train our students. It also involves student exchange programs, particularly for students in the College of Medicine and Nursing.

The College of Management and Economics, in collaboration with the "Warith Center for Entrepreneurship and Innovation" at the University of Warith Al-Anbiyaa (peace be upon him), entered into a mutual cooperation agreement with the Iraq Stock Exchange. The agreement includes provisions for scientific visits, workshops, and seminars aimed at enhancing the academic level of the college students.
The visit also encompasses gaining insights into the operational mechanisms of brokerage firms in the trading hall, as well as understanding the types of data and information provided by electronic trading in the market.

A group of students from the University of Baghdad, specifically from the College of Arts, Department of Geography, accompanied by faculty members, visited the University of Warith Al-Anbiyaa (peace be upon him) on a scientific excursion. During the trip, the students explored the university's halls and its scientific laboratories, gaining insights into the academic and research facilities available.

The Student Activities Department at the University of Warith Al-Anbiyaa (peace be upon him), in collaboration with the Babylonian Hands Team, organized a charity bazaar to support children battling cancer and receiving treatment at the Cancer Diseases Hospital. This humanitarian initiative aimed to provide both moral and material support to these young warriors in their fight against cancer.

As part of the practical activities organized by the Civil Engineering Department, second-year students, accompanied by faculty members, visited the expansion projects of the university. They observed the construction phases of the university buildings and the development stages of the roads within the university premises.
This field trip aimed to bridge the theoretical and practical aspects for students, providing them with valuable insights into the construction and development processes of the university's infrastructure. The goal was to enhance students' understanding and maximize their benefits through firsthand experience and observation of the ongoing projects.

The College of Nursing at the University of Warith Al-Anbiyaa (peace be upon him), in collaboration with the Iraqi Red Crescent Society, Karbala branch, organized a training workshop on "First Aid" for faculty members, staff, and students. The workshop included training participants on how to provide first aid to patients and the injured in emergency situations and accidents. It covered alternative scenarios before transferring the patient to the hospital in the first minutes after the injury.
The training encompassed all necessary steps to deal with these situations in a simplified manner, with a practical application to facilitate learning and wise decision-making to avoid potential problems.

Medical students from the College of Medicine at the University of Warith Al-Anbiyaa (peace be upon him), accompanied by faculty members, conducted a scientific visit to the "Neuropathy and Cerebral Palsy Center" affiliated with the Holy Shrine of Imam Hussain. The director of the center provided an explanation about the center, its departments, and the available equipment.
This center is unique in the region for its focus on patients with muscle and nerve disorders, and it is managed by a large group of Iraqi and international experts.

The Prime Minister presented a letter of "thanks and appreciation" in recognition of the distinguished efforts of the Presidency of the University of Warith Al-Anbiyaa (peace be upon him) in accomplishing the tasks assigned to it, particularly through the implementation of the "Entrepreneurship Initiative" courses at the university.

Our country, Iraq, has secured membership in the Executive Board of UNESCO, considered the highest scientific and cultural authority in the world. On this occasion, the Minister of Higher Education and Scientific Research, Dr. Naeem Al-Aboudi, emphasized that Iraq's membership in the Executive Board of UNESCO reinforces the decisions of our institutions in achieving their goals, missions, and commitment to responding to the requirements of sustainable development.

In line with the vision of the Holy Shrine of Imam Hussain and in implementation of the directives of the President of the University, Professor Dr. Ibrahim Al-Hayawi, and in pursuit of graduating distinguished and accomplished students in their respective fields, the presidency of the University of Warith Al-Anbiyaa (peace be upon him) has decided to allocate a financial reward for outstanding research and graduation projects for students of the College of Engineering for the academic year 2022-2023. This is intended to encourage them to strive for excellence, innovation, and to break away from conventional approaches in the writing and implementation of graduation projects.
The university presidency has decided that the reward will be an amount of 900,000 Iraqi Dinars, granted to projects that achieve first, second, and third places. The determination of the winners will be made by specialized professors from the University of Karbala, the University of Technology, and the University of Babylon.

Dr. Sabah Mohammad Jaber, a faculty member at the College of Law at the University of Warith Al-Anbiyaa (Peace be upon him), has been appointed to oversee a master's thesis. The thesis is titled "The Role of Constitutional Judiciary in Shaping Executive Authority: A Comparative Study," and it is being conducted by student Zainab Mortada Shukr.
It is noteworthy that the teaching staff at the University of Warith Al-Anbiyaa (Peace be upon him) is distinguished by a sterling reputation and extensive scholarly expertise, making them well-suited for the effective supervision of research, postgraduate theses, and dissertations.
